Growing Conditions

Merlot and Cabernet Franc from carefully selected plots of clayey gravel and Cabernet Sauvignon grown on sandy gravel.

Mechanical harvest. The fruit is sorted with optical screening equipment.

Winemaking

Aged 12 months in French oak: 1/3 new, 1/3 one-year-old and 1/3 two-year-old barrels.

Nose

Luscious aromas of black fruit and sweet spice. Copius amounts of creme de cassis, cedar wood, underbrush and spice notes.

Palate

Silky and fleshy on the palate with a chewy finish and hints of liquorice and red fruit compote. Beautiful opulence, silky tannins and a long finish.

Appearance

A dense purple color.
